It is said that the legendary Racehorse, Hercules owned way back in the 18th Century by the Dixie family, has been revived and come back as an Innkeeper here at Hercules Revived.
A strong silent type, and rarely seen, Hercules keeps a watchful eye over all proceedings, ensuring celler perfection and tasty fooder for all who are welcomed at the Inn.
He can, of course be heard, loud and clear, here on these pages or Facebook and Twitter if he's feeling sociable. He'll shout about anything and everything that needs to be heard; news, events, stories, local gossip, spanking new suppliers, well, you get the idea.

January at Hercules Revived
Mon 7th Jan. 2013
Christmas and New Year's excess seems far away for most of us by now, and January is in full swing. A time to sooth our senses with simple, hearty food to ward off the chill, and our Main Menu will do just that.
The Innkeeper's daily soup, served with wonderful crusty bread, or the seared pigeon breast with black pudding, pomegranate and crisp root vegetables. Try our local Tamworth sausages from Ashwoods served with luxurious caramelised onions, buttered mash and Bramley gravy, and you'll love our Herculean burger with chips and salad.
If you're looking for a quick bite though, our sandwiches & baguettes are going down a storm too, at just 5.95, they're served with chips and salad garnish - the perfect choice for a grey January lunchtime.
